The Grand Denali Painting was commissioned by the Grand Denali Lodge located in Denali Alaska. The Painting is an impressive 17ft X 10ft and was painted on location within the lodge. The Grand Denali painting depicts two gold miners on the Nenana River with a background of peaks from the Cantwell areas of rugged Denali Alaska.  Within the paintings are many of the artifacts hanging in the lodge, including a 1905 Yukon River Skow Freight Hauler which hangs above the gift shop in the main lobby.
